Oh my gosh! This book is on the verge of epic! The emotions! The drama! What a ride! This story had a bit of everything—an enemies to lovers, slow-burn, suspense, heartwarming, angst, laugh-out loud banter, and a whole lot of heat. I was sucked right into this book and I couldn’t put it down.Nicholas (Nick) Brandt and his brother Ward runs their grandmother’s business—Brandt Ideas. Nick is very handsome, tall, sexy, arrogant, grumpy, and a playboy billionaire whose full of himself and his reputation precedes him. He’s the type of man every woman desires and longed to have.Reese Halle is a chauffeur or corporate driver for Brandt Ideas. She was hired by Beatrice Brandt, the grandmother and owner of the company, who is now retired. Reese loves her job for driving and it also provides her an opportunity to help her sister Abby and her four year old niece, Millie—her only family members. For quite some time, during their rides to the office, Nick would talk to Reese like a confidant because quite frankly—he thought she was a guy… until he found out she wasn’t (oops)! Nick asked Reese to attend a ball to rebuff his ex-girlfriend—what a doofus guy, right! When things were starting to look up for Reese, then an incident happens that exposes Abby, Millie, and herself to danger, and what Reese begins to uncover, with the help of Nick, threatens everything—and puts her life in the crosshairs. What else will be stirred up in the murky depths of Reese’s family life? Both Reese and Nick have preconceived notions of the other, but they find out they have more in common than they expect. The crazy attraction they both have for each other with slow-burn chemistry that is off-the-chart hot! This story is entertaining and fervent with a dash of dreams coming true. There are several twists and turns within the story that makes it interesting. Nicole Snow satisfies hearts longing for laughter in their love stories, with some suspense, and battle of wits is tremendously fun—acerbic and sexy and filled with tension. I highly RECOMMEND this book—you won’t regret it!
