Aaaahh?I love a good second chance romance that gives me all the tension and hidden feelings since before the main characters see each other again. This was Cal and Liv!Olivia was a total badass! I loved how she was always so sure of what she wanted and how committed she was to reach her goals and honor her great-aunt’s wishes. I loved how strong she was and didn’t let her past mistakes determined her future. I loved how smart and smoothly she broke into Cal’s barriers and the amazing team they were and how much they understood each other not only with the renovations but also in a deep personal level.Callum was a sweetheart and the most amazing friend. He had his heart on his sleeve! Even when he was trying to hide how much he loved Olivia. I loved the little details he noticed about her and how he couldn’t resist her. It completely broke my heart to learn how much he suffered in his younger years and understood completely all of his fears and hesitstions. I rooted for him and his happy ending from start to finish. This man made me melt with so much sweetness and true love for Olivia!The chemistry and the tension were the most delicious, loved every single second of their steam and swoony moments. Believe me, things get very spicy and hot with them!As always, I loved all the amazing supporting cast, this small town has some hilarious and quirky characters that adds so much to the love story. I enjoy so much the level of suspense @authordaphneabbott adds to her stories, it’s always the right amout of intrigue to keep you wondering what’s gonna happen next and it always adds the necessary push for the couple to get their happy ending and the romance between thwm to be completely perfect.
