A tender romance! I had mixed feelings about Adrie Chandler who grew up on the mission field and now helps her grandmother run a Christian bookstore. Adrie's grandmother hires a new Christian, Ross Peterson, as manager of the store so she can retire. I could understand some of Adrie's hesitation to leave the store in Ross' hands even though she was attracted to him. I admired Ross who was quickly growing as a Christian and falling in love with Adrie. Ross was so patient with Adrie even though he knew she didn't trust him. I recommend A Man to Trust to anyone who enjoys contemporary fiction. I received a complimentary copy of A Man to Trust from the author. This is my honest opinion.
