Winnie's Walk/Misty Falls is written by a Methodist minister who has obviously been involved in her parishioner's lives and it is meant to draw new people to faith. Little sermonettes are sprinkled throughout the story and they meld into it effortlessly. Misty Falls is a continuation of Winnie's Walk with the same characters who portray many of the same problems everyone sees in their everyday lives. This is a warm story written by a caring and gracious author. This book is interesting and true to life, with believable characters and situations, with maybe a touch too much said about the Methodist church and its structure. All in all, this is a well told story written by a woman with an obviously warm and nurturing personality. I will recommend this book to friends because I personally enjoyed it very much.
