I loved this book by Sarah Strohmeyer, for me it's her finest work yet. The characters are solid, accessible, and memorable. You will relate to Julie and her mother Betty like they were people you know. The relationships in this book are believable and seasoned with angst and humor.Betty tries to make her daughter Julie get together with her crush Michael Slayton, the same crush she secretly ended when her daughter was only 17 and Michael 21. Now after 20 years and many heartbreaks, Betty realizes that Michael is Julie's real love and she tries to reunite them in a dessert class.Irresistibly delicious this book is about the power of love and the undying love of a Mother who will try her best to give her daughter the love of her life using chocolate and other amazingly sweet concoctions.
